GOLDEN DRAGON IV

A woven sleeveless kimono using a fine cotton warp by contemporary weaver Christopher Duncan.

Wefts include fine New Zealand merino wool with details in muga silk from Assam.

The fine wool is woven in various structures throughout the garment - twill, crepe, tabby and weft faced.

Hem and neckline are finished by hand with linen thread and the ties are made of cotton. 

All pieces are hand woven by Christopher Duncan. They are unique and have their own personal stories, signatures and figures layed in during the weaving process.
