Wood work artist Hideo Saitou (1976) currently lives and works in Shizuoka, Japan. Hideo tries to maximize the power of the various wooden blocks he collects in nature by further aging the wood in various steps of the creation process. A true collaboration with nature. Each individual piece shows a different passage of time and has been highly crafted by the self thaught hands of Hideo Saitou.
